“Following the white rabbit:

VR and AR in the Hospital of the Future”

Hospitals produce huge amounts of patient data and house versatile knowledge and training capacities. Yet only a fraction of the information is used at any given time in the patient care continuum and medical training. VR and AR are forming platform technologies in the hospital of the future, offering new opportunities for collaboration between medical teams, machine and imaging data. This talk will look at current and projected use cases in the context of clinical and patient education, surgery, and the unique benefits of deploying AR and VR in the Herston Biofabrication Institute in Brisbane.
