You’re busy. The customers are calling and you have a lot of work to do.
But it’s hard to keep track of your business if you don’t use a CRM of some kind – a so-called Customer Relationsship Manager.
Some companies use their finance management program like E-conomic or Billys Billing to manage all the customers in.
We guide here to 3 perhaps more useful alternatives.
Remember that a notebook is always an opportunity to manage large and small. The consultant’s favorite choice is the Moleskine brand. You will find notebooks and other office supplies here.
Podio
Podio is co-founded by Danish entrepreneur Tommy Ahlers, who later sold it to Citrix for hundreds of millions of kroner.
With Podio you get a flexible tool that can be built around your business and its needs. It takes a little assistance to start setting up the system so that it fits perfectly to your particular company’s needs – but on the other hand, you have a strong, cheap and scalable system for the company later.
Podio costs you 5-20 euros per month per user depending on how many features you need.
SugarCRM
A newer player in the market for CRMs is SugarCRM.
SugarCRM lures with a simple setup, simple pricing and ample help from the support to get you started running your business in the cloud. Of course, as with Pipedrive and Podio, there are apps for both Android and iOS you can use to keep track of business on the go.
Whether you prefer Podio or SuarCRM, which by far both can be customized as needed, is a very individual question. We recommend you try both and see what best suits your type of business.
Pipedrive
Do you run a sales business?
Pipedrive is built for sellers. You have the opportunity to manage your leads in a pipeline and advance them as you make contact, send offers, follow up on your offers and much more. For companies with one or more dedicated sellers, Pipedrive is a great tool.
The tool is less useful once you get the customers on board. Here you can consider moving them further in another CRM.
Pipedrive costs manageable 7 euros per month per user.
The Fitness company Billig-Fitness.dk is among the companies that use Pipedrive to manage sales to B2B clients. Christian Møller tells:
“Pipedrive is good because it very simply puts the focus on how far we are with the individual client. We can prioritize whether we want to move a possible customer from intro to meeting or whether we want to close all open doors. We can be flexible as needed in cheap-Fitness.”
