The 5th 360º Market of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality of Barcelona that has been held in person and online this year from 28 to 1 October. It is impossible to make a summary of all the conferences and meetings that have taken place, but we can recommend that you try to see the two awarded short films in their festival: Marco & amp; Polo Go Round and Ajax All Power. The latter is hosted in the Veer application, while the other one has only been exhibited at festivals so far.
The award to Best Short Film in the 5th Virtual and Augmented Reality Market of Barcelona it was for Marco & Polo Go Round, by Benjamin Steiger Levine. A special mention has also been given to a work already seen in other festivals: Ethan Shaftel’s Ajax All Powerful.
Marco & amp; Polo Go Round it is a story of love and humor with a very surreal touch. Tell about the problems a couple faces in their relationship. Gravity becomes unstable, turns upside down, and your world literally turns upside down around you. This short film stands out for its almost expressionist pictorial artistic style.
Ajax All Power its protagonist is a moody and foul-mouthed genius who feeds on human souls. Her technique is to deceive with the promise of granting wishes, but things get difficult when the one who rubs the magic lamp in which she lives is a very clever girl, so clever that she hires a lawyer to negotiate the conditions of fulfillment of the wishes to which she has the right to ask.
