Most people have probably realized that the computer can give us a lot of good tools. Sometimes, for example, it may seem a bit like we think together with the computer – it can be quite difficult to arrive at the right result if we do not have a computer to be able to cooperate with. It might seem a little creepy when you think about it. But it is a development that we cannot avoid. And as scary as it may seem, just as good a thing it is. We should therefore not be so sad, as the computer can help to accomplish some amazing things with us, as long as we use it right. There are many thoughts that would not be complete at all if it were not because we had the computer to support them along the way.
A computer is a hacker’s tool
Where the computer can contribute to destruction is when it is being used by a hacker. The only one who gets something ”good” out of it is the hacker himself, who probably gets collected some private data that he or she then uses to make money. This is therefore not at all beneficial for us humans, who on a daily basis fear an attack on our personal data by a hacker. That is, a computer in this case does not immediately seem to be a positive invention. Nor will the computer appear as a positive invention when it is in the hands of a hacker, but there are many other cases where it can be of help in just the right way.
We gather knowledge with the computer
One thing we almost all have in common with a hacker: we use the computer to gather knowledge. However, there is a difference in how it is done. A hacker gathers knowledge about private data, which is very illegal. The rest of us probably use the computer to learn more about some questions that we cannot answer ourselves. Perhaps it is a student who cannot fully understand what is written in the syllabus and therefore must have the information elaborated on the internet. It may also be a mother who does not know what to make for dinner, and therefore she must search for recipes to find some inspiration. Another case might be someone who has had his car damaged and just would like to know what a car insurance policy covers. It can therefore be completely harmless to use your computer. It is not only harmless, it is also extremely beneficial, as in this way you can become much wiser about what you are in doubt about.
You should therefore not look at the computer as a bad thing for the human being, which only creates insecurity. Because it can just as much help to give you a safer everyday life when you are in doubt about something. In most cases, this is also what the computer is being used for.
