Composition and reorganisation
A very common challenge for most people is either to put together several PDF documents or to change the order of the individual pages. For these issues, we recommend that you use a small tool called PdfJumbler. Since it does not require to be installed, simply open the program, add its documents and make the desired changes with the mouse.
We have not even tried to use PdfJumbler on operating systems other than Windows 7, but the developer promises that the program can also be used on Linux and Mac. However, since it is a JAR file, one must remember to have Java installed.
If you’re just using Mac, then you don’t actually need a program to make these changes, since Apple’s built-in program, Image Viewer, can be applied to exactly the same thing. When you have a document open, click on “Overview “at the top of the program and select”thumbnails”. Then the process is almost the same, as you also use the mouse to drag around the sides to the left. When you close the PDF Document, Image Viewer saves your changes.
More advanced modifications
In the previous section, the simplest types of edits were described. For the more geeky users on the site, we also recommend the tool PDFill PDF Tools, which allows you to create a number of more advanced options. To get an overview of the program’s features it’s easiest to just take a look at the main menu:
As seen in the picture, PDFill PDF Tools can be a lot more than PdfJumbler, including the ability to encrypt files, add watermarks, make rotation and much more. To do one of the things, of course, click on the button, but since the program does not display the document in question at the same time, it is important to keep your tongue straight in your mouth and have control of the technical concepts.
