The prizes offer an opportunity to get support from Sony, in addition to publishing your game on their platform.
This Friday, August 31, the registration period for the V Edition of the PlayStation Awards, an initiative that aims to support the development of independent, original and quality video games made in Spain. In previous calls different studios have participated with virtual reality games, even winning one of them (Intruders: Hide and Seek by Tessera Studios) the best game award.
Participants will be eligible for seven categories :” Best Game of 2018″, “Most Innovative Game”, “Game with the Best Art”, “Best Use of PlayStation Platforms”, “Best Children’s Game”, “Best Online Multiplayer Game”and” Best Game for the Press”. The winner of the best game will receive € 10,000 to fund the project, development kits, a space in one of the PlayStation Talents headquarters, the publication of the game on PS4 and a promotion and marketing campaign.
To participate the studio must have at least one game designer, one programmer and one artist. We have more information on their website.
