How to optimize your wireless network
Here you have a program that can help you find the right channel for your wireless network. The program is called inSSIDer, and can scan your wireless / wireless network for other networks and their channel. It is an advantage not to run with the same channel as the neighbor, as it can cause interruptions on the wireless network. Often you can choose between channels 1-13 on your wireless equipment, by default it is safely set to auto. The best solution is, of course, to find a channel that is not used in advance.

1. Once you have installed the application and got it started, select your wireless network card at the top.
2. Now the program has scanned your wireless network through, and found below with me. As you can see in the picture, there are several running on the same channel. If all channels are recorded, you will have to choose one that is taken. Here it is a good idea to choose the channel that you have the worst connection to, in this way you reduce the risk of outages on your wireless network.
