Here is a guide on how to find the forgotten password for your private folder / PST file in Outlook. It may be you in the morning, have set it to remember the password. If you receive the message below when you open your private folder, this guide / program may help.

1. Double-click the file that you downloaded above. Now comes the image below, here you have to choose “install” below.
2. Once the program is installed and you’ve got it started, it should look like this. In my case, it even found my private folder / PST file and wrote 3 different codes as it could be. Code no. 2 worked and I was happy. If the program does not find your private folder / PST file automatically, you can press F7 and even point to it.
