Europe’s most valuable education start-up: Gostudent

The first question to the managers of Gostudent had it all. Why the sales team is putting “so much pressure on tutors and customers with psycho games”, a participant of the “Ask-Us-Anything” question hour on January 19 wanted to know.
The Handelsblatt has a recording of the 75-minute zoom meeting. For this discussion with the Gostudent representatives, the tutors had only had to start a petition. Tutors are the more than 15,000 freelance tutors who are responsible for digital teaching at Europe’s most valuable educational start-up.
The accusations that tutors make against Gostudent are serious: the company is alleged to have violated data protection law. Salaries would not be paid on time, terminations of tutors would be processed only slowly. And then there is the alleged threat to locate internal critics by IP address.
