Delve into the guts of a submarine in this naval combat simulator designed for room scale that is already available in early access.

Ionized Studios he has launched IronWolf VR, a room-scale submarine game that immerses us in the experience of controlling a submarine in a naval war that we can face alone or in online cooperative, sharing the submarine controls with up to 4 players, although the developers recommend being two or three at most to have a better experience. In IronWolf VR we will fire torpedoes, use the anti-aircraft turret and try to survive the depth charges that the fearsome destroyers will throw at us.

The panels and gauges of the submarine’s control room have been designed to be easily readable, and the cranks and switches imitate the real ones in order to offer an experience as real as possible, to which the haptic response and 3D sound are added to try to achieve a good virtual and underwater immersion. IronWolf VR is designed to be played with a minimum room scale size of 2×1,5 meters, so we will be able to reach all the controls on our own, and to access the rest of the compartments we will teleport using their accesses such as doors or hatches. The game is in early access on Steam for €17.09, and is compatible with HTC Vive and Oculus Rift via SteamVR.
