A few days later than initially planned, the great adventure with dinosaurs from Crytek arrives on compatible devices from the hand of Oculus. Little Robin’s Odyssey is now available on the Rift.

The game is available on Oculus Home and also on Steam for a price of € 39.99, and it doesn’t seem that they have added anything new with respect to the PlayStation VR version, except advanced detail options that allow us to make the most of our PC hardware: shadow quality, drawing distance and, especially, the antialiasing by supersamplig, which is what really makes the difference and makes the graphic quality much superior to what we have been able to see on PSVR, as long as our team has enough power to move it smoothly. The definition of distant objects, the absence of the pop-ins that we see in PSVR… this version makes a considerable leap in graphic quality, although it keeps the gameplay intact. Unfortunately, Crytek has not taken the opportunity to add support for Oculus Touch, and the game is handled with the gamepad, just like on the Sony console. It’s strange to go back a few months in time and aim with your eyes again, especially since the character’s hands are floating on the screen and they are crying out for the use of motion controllers, just as it happened with The Climb before the update for Touch.

What has caught our attention very negatively is that the game only contains the voices in English, while the PSVR version we can enjoy it with a magnificent Spanish dub. We hope that they will add the rest of the languages later, since it is somewhat absurd that they have left out dubs that are already made for the console.
