Studio Roqovan has partnered with SNK Corporation to create virtual reality projects that use its extensive library that features classics such as Metal Slug, Fatal Fury, The King of Fighters and many more.
Studio Roqovan, creators of the free-to-play game World War Toons and formerly known as Reload Studios, has teamed up with SNK Corporation, a great industry classic that has more than 200 IPs
in its long history. The collaboration consists of a license agreement that facilitates access to the SNK library for the creation of virtual reality projects. “As developers who went through the arcade scene of the 80s and 90s, being able to work with SNK and its IPs is a dream come true. We cannot express the emotion we have with this opportunity. We are looking forward to showing the world everything we have been working on with SNK,” says James Chung, CEO of Studio Roqovan.
The first fruit of this collaboration will arrive at the end of the year, with the specific IP and details to be announced at another time. “We will unveil them little by little, but both companies are fully committed to this opportunity, and we have some very exciting collaborations planned with SNK,” concludes Chung.
