UploadVR has found in a community of designers the work of Matt Stenquist, who has published a logo and icons about an Assassin’s Creed room escape game he has been working on.

Ubisoft he has two virtual reality titles behind him, Eagle Flight and Werewolves Within, and is preparing Star Trek: Bridge Crew that will arrive on March 14. So without a doubt, it is a company that is betting on virtual reality, and it would not be unreasonable to think that they are working on bringing Assassin’s Creed, one of their most successful sagas, to the virtual world. For this they could be working on a first experiment in the form of a spin-off. Assassin’s Creed VR Escape Room is the name with which the designer Matt Stenquist has published some images in which he has been working with Ubisoft.

Stenquist indicates on the Dribbble page that he was directing the design of the interface and user experience for an internal development of an Assassin’s Creed room escape game in virtual reality. As we can read in the description of the images, the game uses the Unreal Engine, and would be compatible with HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. It seems that it is a multiplayer game, since this is indicated by the menu and it has also created a series of icons to communicate with other players, so we understand that it could be cooperative when it is a room escape. At the moment Ubisoft has not commented on this, but there is a possibility that it is a real title, because Matt Stenquist has spent months on such work, so let’s hope that it has not been in vain and we will soon see another new Ubisoft title in virtual reality.

Matt Stenquist has sent a tweet in which he indicates that it is not an official work, but a collaborative project between his university and Ubisoft.

Everyone who is spreading the Ubisoft Assassin’s Creed work it is not official, it is a collaboration project between my university and Ubi.
