The Descent Underground Kickstarter campaign is living its last hours with the anxiety of knowing whether or not it will achieve its goal, since something that only 3 days ago seemed impossible, today is much closer.
After a month of campaigning and a brilliant start reaching $200,000, the third part of the goal, a few days after the start, the campaign was stalled, lazily climbing to $400,000 just five days ago, and it gave the feeling that the game would die there. However, this morning we have verified that the figure is already around $ 520,000 with almost 6800 backers, and the goal is no longer so far away with just 17 hours to complete. The release of the new trailer at 60 fps seems to have given wings to the game.
We want the game to reach its goal, because for us Descent is much more than a myth, and to have the opportunity to give new life to this classic from the hand of this group of ex-workers of Star Citizen is something that should not be missed, so I encourage all of you to consider material defenders to do to spread the word and share the campaign, as this game can be converted into a glorious experience in virtual reality. Support for Oculus Rift has already been implemented, as this video shows, and the fact of using Unreal Engine 4 will facilitate its portability to other virtual reality platforms.
