IndieGoGo is looking for funding to create the Hell Mountain movie, designed to be enjoyed on an Oculus Rift, and behind it are some Hollywood greats who have participated in such well-known sagas as Final Destination or American Pie, in addition to the designer of the creatures in Jeepers Creepers, The Hunger Games or Pirates of the Caribbean.

Although we will also have cut-out versions in cinematic format in digital download, DVD or BluRay (including 3D), Hell Mountain is going to be shot thinking that we can move our head to look in all directions and feel that we are inside the movie. At the moment it does not seem that they have revealed plot details, except that it is going to be a horror movie that will do its best to make us jump out of our seats.
The film would be released in August 2015 and for this they need to raise $100,000 between now and December 21. For $ 10 dollars we can watch it online on our Oculus Rift, while if we want to download it we will have to contribute $ 20, so we will have at our disposal three versions: Oculus Rift, 3D SBS and 2D. For $ 25 we can also have it on DVD 2D and for $ 35 on BluRay 2D and 3D. If money is not a problem, there are more tiers, including several that allow us to appear in the movie, as an extra without speaking or even saying a couple of sentences.
It is obvious that the world of cinema is not going to sit idly by watching virtual reality arrive, and although Hell Mountain pretends to be carried out by some Hollywood professionals but without their financial backing, it surely makes enough noise to raise some glances among those who make the big decisions. Hopefully they will achieve their goal.
