For hundreds of years, we humans have wondered if we are alone in this universe. But how to check it? Over the years, we have seen many photographs and videos that have proved that there are aliens among us, or at least their ships, but in general they are very blurry. However, a few hours ago, and after years, “the best photograph of a UFO in history” was released.
You see, on August 4, 1990, a pair of Scottish explorers took an image today called the “Calvine Photo”, which theoretically would be the clearest look ever taken at a UFO. The detail is that these scouts sent it to the Daily Mail newspaper, which in turn sent it to the Ministry of Defense. Incredibly, the Ministry of Defense kept it for more than 30 years, citing “security issues”, or so the rumors said. Well, journalist David Clarke has just released it to the public:
In theory, this was a series of 6 images of the UFO, but today only the one we showed you is preserved. In it, taken near a wire fence, an airplane can be seen in the sky and an object that is certainly larger and cannot be identified.
It turns out that Clarke had been researching the Calvine Photo for over a decade and eventually learned that Craig Lindsay, the former press officer of the Royal Air Force, had a copy of the first (and perhaps only) official print of this image. Apparently, the story that the Ministry of Defense had kept them for years was not true.
“Since they arrived at the Ministry of Defense, the negatives had never been seen. Now, the Ministry of Defense told us that they returned them to the Daily Record,” Clarke said in an interview with Newsweek. “But The Daily Record says they never received them and they have no idea what happened to them. So there are a lot of questions to be answered.”
Clarke added that he does not really believe that the image is of a UFO, but rather of some military project that the Scoese army was working on at the time. In addition, he himself asked his expert friends to corroborate the veracity of the image, who agreed that it is not appreciated to be modified.
Will this be the first official image of a UFO? Now it’s the photographers turn to analyze it.
