The Russians acquired 19.4 million smartphones in the first nine months of 2019 godalgu Blinkova
The company “the Messenger” has estimated that in the first nine months of 2019 in the Russian market has sold 19.4 million smartphones (+2% vs. last year) for a total amount of 318 billion (+8%).
Average price of a smartphone during the reporting period increased by 6% to 16.3 thousand roubles.
The largest increase has demonstrated the device in the price range of 15-20 thousand rubles, the share of the total sales volume was 15%.
Experts Svyaznoy note that from January to September 2019 lead in the number of sales in the smartphone market of our country was changed several times, moving from Samsung to Honor and back. In
currently the leader is Samsung, followed by Apple and Honor. In monetary terms, as “king of the hill” is Apple.
For the first nine months of 2019, the share of smartphones from China made in Russia, 48% of all sales in units (last year this number was equal to 38.6%). Mostly noticeable the growing popularity of Chinese
smartphones in the price range of 6 to 10 thousand rubles. To Honor brands, Huawei and Xiaomi accounted for 90% of all sales of Chinese smartphones.
