The Bank of Russia has checked up, whether it is in poryadke Thursday, January 22, the community ABISS* announced the completion of the assessment of conformity of information security of main departments of the Bank of Russia requirements of the Bank of Russia
“Information security of organizations of Bank system of the Russian Federation. General provisions” STO BR IBBS-1.0 – 2006.
According to the statement ABISS, at the beginning of protogoroda the Bank of Russia conducted a market analysis of the proposals of candidate organizations to conduct evaluation of the main territorial administration. In quality ve
performers have been chosen by the firm: “Antec”, “Aquarius”, “Crystal”, “Pacifica”, “NVision group” and “Ernst & young”.
The test was to be the main office of the Bank of Russia for the Kaliningrad, Lipetsk, Orel, Omsk and Pskov regions, as well as on Transbaikalian edge. (In these offices was first
implemented information security standards.)
Each of these companies-executors of the project has been evaluating a regional management. All the inspections were conducted jointly with specialists of the Main Directorate of security and
information protection (Gubii) CBR.
The test results showed that with the right approach, the implementation of the standard STO BR IBBS-1.0 – 2006 does not require significant financial resources but increases the efficiency
information security financial and credit institutions.
