Always run a program as administrator
Here is a little guide on how to set a program to start with administrator rights each time it is started. By default in Windows Vista and 7, it will not run your program as administrator. It’s because. the NYE security system as Windows comes with (user control / UAC). You can of course always right click on the program file and choose it to be run as administrator, but if you want to avoid this you can follow the instructions below.
1. Right click on the file which starts your program/game and select “Features”. Now you need to choose “Compatibility“up in the tabs, and then put the check mark in “Run this program as administrator”.
2. If it is a shortcut that you have on your desktop, it should be done a little differently, see below.
3. Then put the check mark in “Run as administrator”
