Japan Studios ‘ third-person platformer adventure for PSVR, in which we’ll help robot Astro search for his missing crew, comes in October.
The new platform title exclusive to PSVR, created by the same developers as The Playroom VR, will be available on 3 october both in digital and physical format. The pre-purchase of Astro Bot Rescue Mission it is not available at the moment in the Spanish store, but in the American one it appears with a price of 39.99 dollars. Those who purchase the digital edition before its release will get 4 Astro Bot Avatars, a dynamic theme for PS4 and the soundtrack for download.
The game puts us in control of the Astro robot through 26 levels divided into five worlds through which we will have to look for the members of its lost crew. Each of these worlds will have its own final boss and will include challenges and secrets spread across the different levels. As for the control, the gamepad will be the only option available, becoming thanks to its absolute positioning in a fundamental part.
In addition to the single player campaign, we’ll also have a local multiplayer mode for four players where you can overcome coin races and defeat final bosses as a team, similar to what you’ve seen in The Playroom VR.
We can learn more about Astro Bot in the impressions we shared last week.
