The new presentation mode of Confluence is intended to provide more interaction when presenting projects. Users can use a single tool to write, design pages, get feedback and present them. Edits and comments are possible in real time or asynchronously.
For a focused view, page areas, option menus and inline comments of the page are hidden in presentation mode. When scrolling, the presented sections are highlighted in bold, while other parts of the page are grayed out. To draw attention to certain texts or images, the cursor turns into a pointer.
In addition, Atlassian Confluence provides over 40 new, visually editable templates and other functions so that users can design and improve content in an even more visually appealing way. This includes a table visualization that prepares data on a Confluence Cloud page with just a few clicks.
Excerpt macros realize a single source of truth by allowing the content of one page to be reused on other pages. All pages with these excerpts can be automatically kept up to date via a central page for updating excerpts.
Meanwhile, clear status messages help the teams to stay up to date. Users can either choose a standard status or adapt it to their needs. Further information can be found on the Confluence product page.
