Avoid mouse wakes your pc from sleep mode
If you are using slumber and hibernation on your Windows 7 computer to save power, and are tired of it waking when you touch the mouse, solution is here. I think it’s smart with this feature, as I often forget that I turned on the computer. Windows 7 has also come with an improved slumber and hibernation, than in previous versions and therefore it is also used more. In the past, it was mostly laptops that they used it on, as it often did not work properly on alm. PCs. The only thing I was annoyed about was when you hit the table and the mouse moved a millimeter. Unfortunately, that was enough to wake my computer from slumber and hibernation, and of course I couldn’t live with that.
1. Start by going in control panel and then press “Hardware and sound”
2. Then click “Mouse”
3. Now you have to choose “Hardware“in the tabs. Then select the mouse that you have set to, in my case it is the top one. If in doubt you can always do it for all devices.
4. Press “Power management“in the tabs, and remove flicks in “Allow this device to wake up the computer“That should solve the problem.
