BeamNG.drive is a driving simulator in development, currently in alpha, which will see the light of day in the first quarter of 2015. It stands out for a very complete physics engine that simulates with great precision all the parts of the vehicle in real time, to provide real behavior and violent and realistic crashes. Its creators have started adding support for Oculus Rift.
The environments and vehicles are designed entirely by hand with enormous care in every detail. At the moment it is in alpha state and very soon it will be available for purchase on Steam Early Access. The truth is that we are going to follow it very closely because we have been very struck by the behavior of the vehicles and the destruction of them after the accidents. Initially the game will be a gigantic sandbox where we can customize every last piece of our vehicle, but its creators plan to add all kinds of mini-games, missions, police chases and a single-player story mode. And of course, the Oculus Rift mode which is what we are most looking forward to.
