Ndreams and Paw Print transfer the classic fighting genre to virtual reality, offering the possibility of cooperative play between traditional and viewer users.
nDreams, creators of the game The Assembly, have announced Bloody Zombies, a new title in development by Paw Print Games, which will be available later this year for Rift, Vive and PSVR. Bloody Zombies can also be played without virtual reality on the previous platforms and on Xbox One, allowing players to combine with a viewer and on a traditional screen, in the cooperative mode for 4 players via online or local. The game takes us to an apocalyptic London, where we will have to put an end to hordes of zombies and final bosses, using an accessible combat system with brutal combinations that we can chain, as well as unlock special movements, use melee weapons and activate passive abilities.
The player in virtual reality, as we can see at the end of the trailer, will have the same perspective as the traditional player, but with the addition of being able to look sideways in order to search for secrets, offer tactical support and overcome obstacles in a unique way. “Players team up to fight the undead on the streets of London, regardless of whether they play normal or in VR with their unique point of view,” he explained David Corless, from nDreams. The bet of nDreams and Paw Print, to bring a well-known genre to the virtual world, will be available throughout this year.
