A few days ago one of the most important leaks in the history of video games took place, as a hacker published more than 90 videos of early gameplay of Grand Theft Auto 6. Due to the magnitude of the attack, the global cyber police got down to business and it seems that the pre-perpetrator has already been caught.
The Police of London, United Kingdom, published a press release during the morning of this Friday, where they reported the arrest of a 17-year-old in the town of Oxforshire, on suspicion of hacking. So far, the security forces have not confirmed their specific relationship with the case of the hacking of Rockstar Games and Grand Theft Auto, but many media have begun to report affirmatively.

BBC News pointed out that the minor is part of a cybercriminal group called Lapsus$, which is organized mainly through Telegram channels. Apparently, this association was also behind a massive breach that Uber suffered a week ago.
UPDATE: Police expected to give more details on arrest of 17-year-old Rockstar Games hacker later today, possible statement coming from the FBI later this morning/afternoon.

Apparently, the arrest was achieved thanks to a collaboration between the British Cyber Police and the American FBI, and both agencies would be ready to offer official statements in a few hours. At the moment, the only official statement is this arrest.
