Thursday, September 3, company “AMT-group” has announced that was built for mining company “Afroasia” three systems: data storage, information security, and monitoring and
management of it infrastructure. In addition, “AMT group” support for collective work in the mining company.
During the project the specialists of “AMT group” developed software and hardware in the office Mining company Afroasia in Moscow, and developed and successfully tested a typical solution for
deployment in prospective branches of the company.
Hardware part of the solution amounted to the HP servers DL360G5, storage EVA4400 and tape library MSL4048 tape libraries connected to a storage area network. Backup
organized using Veritas Backup Exec.
The software platform decision was the Microsoft Windows Server. The use of technology in the Microsoft Windows Server Cluster Services on the cluster with the storage provided fault tolerance
file storage and network printing. Infrastructure service catalog that you created in Microsoft Active Directory has become the basis for the work applied FOR.
To ensure safe operation of the network and the wireless devices, the specialists of AMT GROUP used authentication mechanism in Microsoft Windows Server and created a center for issuing and supporting certificates.
The specialists of AMT GROUP has provided protection for personal computers and servers from virus attacks and unwanted mail, as well as control access to Internet resources.
Monitoring of servers and network systems using Microsoft System Center Operation Manager and additional management packs from the company eXc (Quest) Software; control
user workstations using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager. The system performs monitoring of the service directory, Windows servers, network services DNS, DHCP, RDBMS
SQL cluster component of Windows Server and basic services, and mail system of Lotus Domino and network devices.
The project cost is a commercial secret.
