They create a virtual reality engine interface for reading CoolReader3 ebooks.
Prototyping People has developed VR Cool Reader, an application in Unity that implements a virtual reality interface of the CoolReader 3 ebook reader. Both the original app and this new immersive implementation are open source, so VR Cool Reader can be downloaded for free through the Oculus Go store. The team in charge says that taking it to other platforms will depend on whether they have the corresponding devices for testing.
VR Cool Reader immerses us in a virtual environment in which we can manage our library of electronic books (in epub format) on a virtual shelf, in addition to, of course, selecting the desired book and opening it for reading, with options to choose its position (including rotation) or put it back in place.
It is hosted in the early access section of the Oculus store.
