Crytek is ready to create a complete virtual reality experience based on its powerful CryEngine engine, the company that created Crysis believes that the time has come and is already taking the first steps.

We are currently exploring virtual reality. We want to show the world that an authentic VR experience can only come from the hand of CryEngine, the best engine. We understand that VR is an important device for enthusiasts, and then it will probably reach the general public. We want to elevate what we can do here… we hope to develop a complete virtual reality experience one day.

These are the words of Faruk Yerli, managing director of Crytek, who has expressed his intentions to Gamespot, also stating that Crytek has found solutions to combat dizziness. On the other hand, Frank Vitz, creative director of the firm, claims CryEngine will be able to use AMD’s LiquidVR software to obtain minimal latency in MultiGPU modes.
