After its release on Rift and Vive, Dick Wilde makes the leap to PS4 virtual reality with support for Move and Aim.
The new studio PlayStack, based in London, and Bolverk Games have announced the arrival of PSVR of Dick Wilde, his first virtual reality game also available for Rift and Live since last April 30. The game takes us to the marshes of Mississippi and puts us in the shoes of Dick Wilde, a pest exterminator who has to face an invasion of crocodiles, piranhas, and more creatures that are out of control. Armed to the teeth with all kinds of gadgets, such as saw rifles, nail guns and electric bows, we will have to overcome the waves of enemies and beat the final bosses that will appear.
Dick Wilde has leaderboards; party mode for friends, who can take turns playing one after the other; three levels of difficulty; and three different environments: the swamp, the lagoon and the north. PlayStack is excited that their game is an Aim Controller launch title, alongside Farpoint. In addition to the support for the new gun controller, the game that puts us in a static position in which to withstand waves, is also compatible with the Move controllers. So those users with both peripherals can choose which option is more effective. “We believe that Aim Controller really complements Dick Wilde’s gameplay,” said Bo Bennekov, CEO of Bolverk Games.
