The virtual reality version of the Codemasters driving game is now available on PSVR and to celebrate they show us the launch trailer.
Codemasters has today released the update for PlayStation VR of DiRT Rally, the driving game that also features virtual reality support on the Oculus Rift. This new update is a downloadable content that we can acquire for € 12.99 or by buying the complete game pack, DiRT Rally PLUS VR, which we can find for € 49.99 in the PlayStation store or for € 39.99 in physical store. The update allows us to play the full game with PSVR, and adds the new co-op Copilot mode for the rally sections of the game, where one partner locally will give us the instructions of passage using a controller and from the traditional screen, while the other is immersed in the race.
The creators of the saga, Codemasters, are already working on the next installment called DiRT 4. Regarding the virtual reality support for this new installment, the team commented that it would depend on the reception that DiRT Rally has on PSVR, although they later commented that if it arrived it would be after the launch.
