As happened with Alien Isolation, the community has figured out how to activate support for Oculus Rift DK2 in Dying Light, and in this case it is not necessary to stop any service since it seems that the game uses a fairly recent SDK, although for now there are some glitches.
In a Reddit thread they are commenting on its operation, activating it is as simple as editing the file video.scr (in C:Users[nombre]DocumentsDyingLightoutsettings) and add a line that says OculusEnabled(), or else remove the exclamation mark (!) in front of the one already there, since it is used to comment the line. For the game to work on the DK2, you have to configure it in extended mode and the drawbacks are that, at the moment, the absolute positioning does not work and the HUD is too small, to the point of being illegible. We will update the news if progress is made to improve the experience.
It is also commented that it is necessary to lower the level of graphic detail to achieve a stable frame rate per second. If someone already has the game, I could comment on their feelings.
