The standard Beta of Elite Dangerous has already started, at least the single-player part. Although the multiplayer universe will not open to the Standard Beta until July 29, those who have purchased it can already begin to get acquainted with the control of ships and game mechanics in single-player missions. We remind you that the game is already compatible with the Oculus Rift DK2.
The single-player missions will allow us to face various combat missions, against one or several enemies of different difficulty. We will also have the support of two companions in some of the missions and we will be able to practice the mechanics of movement between the asteroid fields and combat with enemy ships. The ability to jump to other stars or use the super cruise mode to travel at high speed to other points are not available in this mode.
