The stealth adventure Espire 1: VR Operative has received a new free update called Invictus with a new map and other features, but only for the version of Oculus Quest, which is where the Lode Digital studio is focused. Neither the PC viewer version nor the PlayStation VR version will receive this new content, at least not yet.

Upgrade Invictus it includes support for the “Oculus Challenges” feature, so from now on every week we will find a new challenge in the main menu of the game. The new map is called Coober Pedy and takes us to a remote underground mining town in South Australia. There Espire’s agents are on a mission to infiltrate Ophis headquarters. In addition in this scenario we will find a hotel, a church and a series of caves interconnected by tunnels.

Among the challenges that we will have to face is the elimination of targets and the rescue of hostages. Our main weapon will be stealth, bullet time and distract enemies by throwing objects towards places far from our position. Espire 1: Virtual Reality it has a price of 29,99 € in the Oculus store, with cross-purchase Quest/Rift.
