We were already looking forward to seeing EVE: Valkyrie in action after its jump to Unreal Engine 4, and we can categorically say that the wait has been worth it. The EVE Fanfest 2015 has started today and it has done so spectacularly.
In the video (required to view in 1080p 60 fps) appreciate the interesting details like the flight attendant, similar to that used Elite: Dangerous, and that allows us to control the ship-assisted, or fully manual, behaving according to the laws of newtonian physics. EVE: Valkyrie is a very different type of game from the aforementioned Elite: Dangerous or a Star Citizen, as it focuses on short, action-packed battles. The game will be available, for the moment, on Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus, we assume that next year.
Players with an EVE Online account can already sign up for the EVE: Valkyrie prealpha at this link, for now we don’t have any more details on when it will be available.
