In collaboration with the studio responsible for Astro Bot, the golf saga will debut next year on PSVR.
Clap Hanz and Sony Studio (The Playroom VR, Astro Bot) have announced at the Sony conference of the TGS 2018 that they are working on the virtual reality version of Everybody’s Golf, a new game coming next year exclusively for PSVR. As in the traditional screen title, we will become a golf pro who will immerse himself in the saga like never before. According to Kentaro Motomura of Japan Studio, the idea of adding VR to the experience came from thinking about how they could better immerse players, as well as allow them to enter the environments of the title.
Everybody’s Golf VR will be compatible with gamepad and Move controllers, so we will be able to use both to emulate the hitting of the ball in a realistic way, that is, as if we were holding the club with our hands. The game will keep the essence of the traditional version, trying to offer an experience that everyone can enjoy with ease.
At the moment there is no exact release date of the game, only it will arrive in 2019.
