The application allows us to interact with our Facebook friends and perform actions such as watching 360º videos together or communicating in the virtual world.
Facebook he announced, during the F8 keynote, the launch of the beta of Facebook Spaces, the virtual reality social application for Oculus Rift, which allows us to share time with our friends within the virtual world to carry out various Facebook actions such as watching 360 videos together, drawing or even playing. The first thing we will do in Facebook Spaces is to create our avatar, selecting a photo that the application will use to generate different options, which will resemble the real photo as much as possible, and thus customize our hair color, eyes and other characteristics.
The social application allows us to make drawings that we can take with our hands, using Touch, and you move them around or give them to our friends; at the same time, videos or photos in 360°, thereby reviving moments of our wall of Facebook; create new publications from within the virtual world using, for example, a stick of selfie; and call our friends through Messenger and talk to them via video chat if you do not have a viewfinder, but even so you can see our avatar in the video call.
The application is free and is already available in beta in the Oculus store. The Facebook team will continue to update the app.
