On May 17, PlayStation VR users will reach a new level of immersion thanks to the Aim controller that they will be able to debut with the Farpoint shooter.
Sony has announced the price of the game Farpoint, which will be available for purchase by 59,99€ or, if we also want the new Aim controller, then we can get the pack that includes game and controller for €89.99. Farpoint, developed by Impulse Gear, is a first-person shooter that transports us to a remote alien world where we will have to deal with hostile life forms and dangerous environments while exploring the surroundings to try to discover what has happened and look for a way to return home.
One of the most outstanding novelties of the title is the possibility of playing it with Aim Controller, which will allow us to point and move thanks to this new peripheral that we can use with other compatible games that will be announced soon. The new controller includes sensors and a ball like those of the Move controllers so that we have absolute positioning of the weapon, something that will even allow us to hold it with one hand, take it to our shoulder to switch to another weapon, bring it closer to our face to aim accurately or pick up objects or ammunition.
Farpoint will also be compatible with gamepad, so it will not be necessary to buy the full pack to enjoy the action, and it will have online cooperative mode that will allow us to play with a friend the levels we have completed previously to face hordes of enemies and earn points for kills and accuracy. The game will be available on May 17, and those who make the pre-purchase will receive the red planet suit that they can wear in the games.
