With the new year the new competitions begin. And for all motorsport fans, Mexico City is perfect, as it will be the location for the start of the new Formula E season.
Formula E 2024 starts in Mexico
By means of an article, the start of the tenth season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship in Mexico City was confirmed. The competition will be held at the legendary Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, which becomes the first permanent track to kick off the championship for the second consecutive year. The circuit, with a length of 2.63 km and located at an altitude of 2,250 m, promises to offer exciting entertainment.

The competition started this Friday with the first practice. Tomorrow, Saturday, practice #2 will take place and the formal event will start that same day in the afternoon. With a mix of new faces in different teams and unpredictable storylines, the tenth season of Formula E, featuring the innovative Gen3 car, promises to be the best yet. The competition will start in Mexico City on January 13 at 14:03 local time.
The rider to beat is Jake Dennis, who was crowned on British soil last summer and dominated in Mexico 12 months ago. He will drive for the Andretti Formula E team alongside Frenchman Norman Nato. Other notable drivers are Nick Cassidy and Mitch Evans of Jaguar TCS Racing, Sébastien Buemi and Robin Frijns of Envision Racing, and Pascal Wehrlein and António Félix da Costa of TAG Heuer Porsche.
