Free FTP program
If you are looking for a simple and free FTP program, you should try taking a look at FireFTP. FireFTP is an add-on for the Firefox browser. In Firefox, go to features & gt; Add-ons & gt; Find add-ons. Search fireftp and click the Install button next to FireFTP. Restart Firefox when the installation is complete. FireFTP is opened by going in Tools & gt; Web Developer & gt; FireFTP.
However, you can also add a FireFTP icon on the toolbar. Go to View & gt; toolbars & gt; Customize.
In the Customize Toolbar window, find the FireFTP icon. Drag the icon up on the toolbar and release.
in the Customize Toolbar window, click the Done button.
To create an FTP account, click Create an account at the top left.
In the Account Manager window, enter the information you have from your web hosting provider.
You only need to enter under the first tab.
Click Connect to connect to the files and folders on your web space. By right-clicking
on a file or folder you can, respectively. upload, download, rename, delete create a new folder, etc.
When you want to close the connection again, click Disconnect.
To close FireFTP, close the tab in which FireFTP is opened.
