A few weeks ago we confirmed that Xbox was working on a Game Pass family plan, which is already being tested in Ireland and Colombia. Well, a leak seems to have found the official name of the plan and it would be very positive for everyone.
The well-known leaker Aggiornamenti Lumia published on Twitter an image of what the new Game Pass plan could be called: Friends & Family (Family and Friends). Considering that it is not so common for friends to live in the same house as a family, this could be an indication that Microsoft is willing to allow groups of friends to share this new plan, and not just familiesthat live under the same roof.

This nomenclature is interesting, because in recent months Netflix has started trying to prevent groups of friends from lending the accounts to each other – if they do not live in the same house -, with the reason of incentivizing the sale of subscriptions. Although unofficial, this name seems to indicate that Microsoft does not care about this issue at all.
At the moment, users from Ireland can buy this new (as yet officially unnamed) Game Pass Ultimate plan for €21.99 EUR per month, instead of the €12.99 EUR monthly for an individual plan. With this, up to 4 people can enjoy all the advantages of the service, for a much lower cost.
