Google will provide the Bank with access to cloud services and will help to introduce innovative products.
This year Deutsche Bank has invited Google, Microsoft and Amazon to participate in the tender for the modernization of outdated and fragmented technology networks of the Bank.
The Google deal is part of Deutsche investment in IT-technologies in the amount of 13 billion Euro planned for the period up to 2022. Now Deutsche Bank is conducting a restructuring to
to recover from years of financial losses.
The parties have signed an agreement of intent and expect to sign a multiyear contract in the next few months, the Bank said.
Deutsche Bank expects that the partnership will generate more than 1 billion euros in profit before taxes for ten years.
