The American special services, which firm Google not so long ago turned for help in terms of investigation of incidents of hacker attacks, found that traces of computer attacks are two of the leading
educational institutions in China – Shanghai Jiaotong University and Lanxiang vocational school, one of which (PTU) is related to the Chinese armed forces. It was there, at the Agency’s national
security and not on the Taiwan servers believed (by the same Agency previously), was posted on the computers from which the attackers targeted Google and “many other” American company. About
this was announced by the newspaper The New York Times.
It can be noted that Jiaotong students were winners of the last world championship in programming. School Lanxiang, according to The New York Times, “sinful” the fact that its computer network
operated by the company pertaining to Baidu – the Chinese search engine, successfully competing with Google in the local market. That is, intelligence agencies not only have cracked traces, but found motifs
the alleged attackers.
Experts from the national Bureau of “reassured” by Google that the attacks on the search engine started in January, it seemed the security service of the company, and much earlier – in April. To believe that
Google is not trying to “hack” until April of last year difficult, but perhaps American intelligence services meant attack only computers with the above mentioned two Chinese educational institutions.
