If you upgrade to the latest version of Chrome, the app will be available from the home screen of your Daydream viewer.
Google has released an update for Chrome that brings support for Google Daydream View and Lenovo Mirage Only. Chrome was already available in a hidden way in the Mirage viewer Alone, but this update allows us to launch Chrome directly from the home screen, to navigate and interact with any web page while we are in virtual reality.
According to Google, Chrome is fully compatible with Daydream. Includes voice search, bookmarks and incognito mode. The browser also adds some VR-specific features, such as” cinema mode, ” which Google tells us optimizes video in the browser for a better VR viewing experience.
