Oculus is once again holding its contest to sculpt pumpkins in virtual reality, making use of the Touch controls and the official model that they make available to us. Not available in Spain.
Although participation is not open to users from the Spanish territory, Oculus brings again this interesting initiative that brings festivities and cultural celebrations to virtual reality. In this contest we are offered a 3D model of a pumpkin to model to our liking inspired by the Jack-O-Lanterns of a lifetime. For this we have at our disposal its creative tool Medium, which allows us to sculpt and model in virtual reality on the Oculus platform.
The contest is presented in two categories: one that will ask us for a design making use of the official model presented, and another for the most expert artists that will allow to create a complete scenario from scratch. The judges will score the works based on the creativity, the clarity with which the grimace is identified, the structural integrity when printing the project in 3D and the presentation.
