Here is a guide on how to assemble many Word documents into one automatically. It could possibly. be you were writing your thesis, and wrote each topic / point in each his own document, and eventually would gather it all into one big document. Below is a guide on how to assemble your Microsoft Office Word documents into one, this guide is made in Word 2007, so unfortunately do not know if this feature is available in Word 2003.
1. Open a new document and select the tab “Insert object“then click “Object“and press “Text from file”
2. Now you can select more documents by pressing “Ctrl“and point with the mouse. Click “Insert object” and all your Word documents should be in one.
