1. Start by pressing “Windows button” + “R“simultaneously and write “msconfig” pressurize “OK”
2. Or you can write “msconfig“in search function in Windows 7 and double click “msconfig.exe”
3. Now should the image below like to appear on your screen, here you must select “Boot“in the tabs and then press “Advanced settings”
4. Now you have to choose how many “processors” / ” “kernels“you have in your computer. You can see this by checking out this guide here: http://www.it-artikler.dk/2010/03/30/hvor-mange-kerner-har-min-computer/
Mine stood at 1 by default and was not turned on at all, I have now set it to 2, since my computer has 2 Cores/processors and is a “Intel Core2 Duo” CPU. Pressurize “OK”
5. You can also choose to tick “No start with graphical user interface“, this makes Windows7 not show logo during startup. I don’t quite know how much it gives, but little is also right.
6. Finally press “Start“up in the tabs. Here you can choose what to start when computer logs into Windows, I have chosen to remove my “PC Suite“since I only use it when my Nokia phone is on. Has also removed “Adobe CS4 service manager“since I don’t have it installed at all anymore.
7. Now restart your computer, hope it helped at your boot speed.
