Mark Zuckerberg himself has been in charge of proclaiming Hugo Barra as the person in charge of the virtual reality division of the company, without naming the position of CEO at any time.
In one more example of the integration of Oculus within Facebook, the company founded by Palmer Luckey is definitely left without a CEO, which certifies that it is one of the many groups that work under the billionaire umbrella of Zuckerberg. In a tweet from Hugo Barra himself, he indicates that his position will be that of VP of the virtual reality division of Facebook to lead the Oculus team.
Joining Facebook as VP of virtual reality (VPVR!) to lead Team @Oculus. So excited! Mark posted about it here: https://t.co/kYgIniSQiM pic.twitter.com/7fYTkniykr

Hugo Barra left his job at the Chinese company Xiaomi just a couple of days ago, in which he had been working since August 2013 and leaving the company as an important brand in the world of mobility after its extraordinary expansion internationally beyond the Asian market. He had previously been working at Google as vice president of Android, and today his arrival at Oculus is confirmed to exercise the position of vice president of virtual reality. We wish him all the luck in the world in his new career at the head of Oculus.
