Identity is a contemporary open-world MMORPG with total freedom and a focus on player interaction, from Asylum Entertainment, famous for the already well-known Altis Live mod from ARMA 3. The game will be compatible with Oculus Rift.
These developers intend to create a version of Altis Live but without the limitations of the ARMA 3 engine, and for this they have chosen Unreal Engine. In Identity you can do everything, from being a simple farmer and living away from the city to dedicating yourself to criminal work, being a policeman, politician, jewelry seller or any other business of your own and everything you can think of, on a map similar in size to Altis, about 64 km2. Although they don’t say anything on the Kickstarter page, the creators have confirmed that the game will have support for Oculus Rift from day one.
The Kickstarter campaign ends on February 4th and we can get the game, which will be finished by the end of 2016, for $10 CAD. The goal is to raise $150,000 CAD, of which they have already raised more than $30,000. Thanks to our colleague DRDMORO for the news.
