After the great success achieved last year in Canada, the Immersed conference, which brings together all kinds of professionals related to immersive technologies, arrives in Europe, specifically in the city of Murcia, on September 2 and 3.
Immersed Europe aims to provide European content developers, technology innovators and professionals with the necessary tools and resources to advance their businesses and careers in an immersive world. Last November, names such as AMD, nVidia, The Khronos Group, Jaunt, ImmersiON-VRelia, New Deal Studios or The Canadian Film Centre met in Toronto, as well as professionals such as David Traub, virtual reality consultant for the film The Lawnmower and John Gaeta, Oscar winner for The Matrix trilogy and Creative Director of New Media & Experiences at Lucasfilm.
Spain has been chosen as the venue for the First Immersed Europe Conference, and our country is at the forefront in Europe, ahead of Germany, France or the United Kingdom in terms of interest in virtual reality. The city of Murcia is home to various companies related to virtual reality, but it also has a climate, a gastronomy and a price that make it very attractive to European tourists. How could it be otherwise, Real or Virtual will collaborate with the Immersive Technology Alliance and with MTBS3D in the organization of it. Surely now many of you will understand that meeting we had with Neil Schneider last February (yes, we owe you an interview, patience).
Soon we will give more information about the exact place where the event will be held and the speakers who will attend it, since many agreements are currently being closed. At the moment, you can see all the information available to date on the Immersed Europe website.
