Chris Roberts does not rule out the use of other devices similar to Oculus Rift. We find this proposal very interesting, since there may be people who are not comfortable using an HMD or who simply prefer to use their three-screen setup with TrackIR. Our opinion is that most will end up making the leap to virtual reality, but Chris Roberts thinks that augmented reality can also give a lot of play. It even considers the possibility of supporting Avegant Glyph and Project Morpheus, although in the latter case it would only be if Sony allowed its use on a PC, since a console version of Star Citizen is still highly unlikely.
